We have been in serving the students of Myanmar in northern Thailand since August of 2022
After being in Chiang Rai for six months God started bringing the Myanmar people to us. We now serve over 1,500 Myanmar students at an international university only 30 minutes from our house. Over the last three years God has allowed us to minister in four distinct ministries. Please support us @ s1.ag.org/g2g
Floyd and Katrina have a heart to serve others. They have served honorably in the military for 21 years. While stationed in Fairbanks AK they were able to go on a missions trip with their church that God provided for miraculously. While on this trip a Ugandan team member prophesied that we would be doing missions full time but wouldn't know the place until we got there.
In 2015 Katrina's father was invited to attend a 50 year celebration of the Bible College he planted. Both Katrina and I were able to escort him on this trip. When we arrived in the country of Myanmar we fell in love with the culture, the people, and the local church community. It was just as our Ugandan brother prophesied and we went home and applied to become M's.
We are returning for another four year term and we need your help in raising $1,800 in monthly support to go back to the people we love that are hurting from COVID 19, a military coup, villages being bombed, flooding and in 2025 a 7.7 earthquake. Our students feel hopeless and helpless trying to recover from decades of struggles. Our students feel abandoned and alone, as their parents and loved ones send them out of their country to protect them from being on the front lines of the military. God has allowed us to give them a safe space to share their stories, heartbreaks, heart aches and dreams.
God gave us a student center called The Bridge. We have been able to meet with our Myanmar students every Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-6. We have grown our community and been able to minister to these precious students, all who have endured trauma. These students are fleeing persecution and a mandatory draft, instituted by the military, under a military coup.

We have been blessed by God to be able to connect with a community of Myanmar students at Mae Fah Luang University. On Saturday we meet with the Christian students and have a time of praise and worship. We end by praying over the individual needs for the students and their families that are still in the villages in Myanmar being bombed by the military.
The Bridge student center gives the students an opportunity to relax and have a sense of community outside of their country, away from their parents and feeling abandoned. We feed them snacks, give them drinks and give them an opportunity to play games. Here we grow deeper in our relationships with them. This allows us to share our faith, our testimonies and pray for their needs.
The young girl on the right came to Katrina one day with cuts all over her arms. She told the story of breaking up with her boyfriend and feeling depressed. Katrina wept to see her injuries and told her, please remember my sadness and tears when you want to cut yourself again. She now come to our student center almost every time it is open.
