We have been in Chiang Rai for just over 4 months now and we hit the ground running. We had already put down our deposit on a house while in the US, so we got to move right in. With all our moving experience it only took us a week to setup our household. Please support us @ s1.ag.org/g2g
Floyd and Katrina have a heart to serve others. They have served honorably in the military for 21 years. While stationed in Fairbanks AK they were able to go on a missions trip with their church that God provided for miraculously. While on this trip a Ugandan team member prophesied that we would be doing missions full time but wouldn't know the place until we got there.
In 2015 Katrina's father was invited to attend a 50 year celebration of the Bible College he planted. Both Katrina and I were able to escort him on this trip. When we arrived in the country of Myanmar we fell in love with the culture, the people, and the local church community. It was just as our Ugandan brother prophesied and we went home and applied to become M's.
We have been approved for another three year term and we need your help in raising funds to go back to the people we love that are hurting from the military coup and COVID 19. Over 100 pastors have passed while trying to help their locals communities. We now have the opportunity to minister in Chiang Rai with several local Thai pastors and their church plants amongst the local people groups, like the Akha hill tribe and the Myanmar refugees.
We love that we can be generous in our giving and take a few students out after The Bridge student center. This is where we are able to create deep relationships with our students and start to share our faith and show the love of Jesus. We need your help keeping the student center open . It only costs $3200 for a whole year for operational expenses, or we also provide snacks.
We have been blessed by God to be able to connect with a community of Myanmar students at Mae Fah Luang University for the last 18 months. This was our quarterly bi celebration at the Eng club on campus. We had 47 students attend.
We are praying to be able to return to Myitkyina where Katrina's father, Ray Trask, founded a Bible College in 1965. It was such a huge encouragement to be able to meet with the northern Myanmar district leadership in Chiang Mai Thailand. They were traveling back from Bangkok, were they had meetings and conferences. We were encouraged that there is a possibility that in late 2023 that we might be
